有思想的人哪個不想自殺？所以日本以前就出現了割脈死的一族如太宰治，芥川龍之介，及後三島由記夫等。雲翔在電影中，書作中不止一次提及三島（三島對生命和性的取向，下略三百字…）。 人如何活？如何死？如何的行屍走肉？如何？如何陰魂不散？無法抗拒的命中注定？刻意安排卻無意碰巧？ 那是什麽在牽引著人情不自禁或明知故犯的腳步？資訊科技愈來愈發達，但是人的思想卻愈來愈空虛，相對便產生了名家的命理玄學，世紀預言等…其中有一個説法，認爲人死後七日内魂魄未散，叫做“中陰身”，雲翔電影佔大幅度地以“中陰身”來探索他無可奈何的人生人死。所以電影中常見死者赤裸的身體四處徘徊，爲了某些怨念而自然在找尋…比較奇怪的是，中國人鬼一般都是慘烈厲鬼，形態恐怖核突，而且大部分都要回來報仇多名，西方的鬼卻有大部分不是報仇的。 雲翔的赤裸靈魂相比則較西方。然而他有個巧妙的生人背景，佈置在特意的電影鏡頭里。有心人會感到他濃濃的生死血肉的感想。無心人則謂：“奇片呀，個個都冇衫着，但也不咸濕”。港人是後者，歐日人士是前者。雲翔每片都在外地有相當的放映和應邀隨片講述他的生命哲學。 -李默
